If you didn't download the resource yet, you can do it, by clicking on this link and you can just press on "Download", if you are signed in.
Once downloaded, unzip the file using WinRAR or a similar program.
Right-click on the rar file and select "Extract Here" or the equivalent unzip option provided by your software.
After extraction, you should see the folders for the Velocity Proxy and Lobby Server.
You can delete the rar file if you'd like; it’s no longer needed.
Once unzipped, ensure that the Velocity Proxy and Lobby Server are placed in the same directory. Your folder structure should look like this:
There’s no further configuration required, as everything has already been set up for you.
Note: Minigame servers are not included in the default setup. You can purchase minigame server add-ons separately and easily integrate them with the current proxy setup.
To start your server:
Navigate to the Proxy folder.
Double-click on the start.bat
file to run the proxy. This will start the proxy connection for the lobby.
Then, navigate to the Lobby folder.
Double-click on start.bat
in the Lobby folder to launch the lobby server.
Once both the Proxy and Lobby servers are running, you can connect to your server using the following IP:
You should now be automatically connected to the lobby server.
If you want to add minigame servers, you’ll need to purchase them as separate add-ons. Once bought, you can drag the Minigame Server folder(s) into the same directory and start them up.
If you're looking to invite friends to join your server hosted on your computer, I highly recommend utilizing Playit. This tool effectively safeguards your public IP address, ensuring privacy, while still allowing seamless access for your friends to join your server.
That’s it! Your proxy setup with a Velocity Proxy and Lobby server is ready to go. For any further assistance or questions, feel free to reach out on BuiltByBit or Polymart.
