Glaives
Realistic Survival - Spartan Weaponry
A glaive is a somewhat slow attacking polearm weapon with far reach and partial area-of-effect (AOE) damage.
This page applies to the default, pre-generated configuration of the most recent version of Realistic Survival. If you have customized the items or are using an older version of Realistic Survival, the information listed here may not be consistent with your values.
The glaive possesses the following weapon properties:
Reach I
Allows player to attack up to 7 blocks away.
Two-Handed I
Applies Mining Fatigue III for 0.5 seconds when any item is held in the offhand.
If the off-hand is empty, the glaive swings at normal speed.
Wide Attack I
Deals 50% of base damage to targets within sweep range.

Notes
Glaives function similarly to a greatsword, albeit less powerful.
Tips
Dragonbones should be saved until dragon blood is obtained so that elemental dragonbone glaives can be crafted.
Trivia
Glaives are one of the few Spartan weapons whose dragonbone and dragonsteel variants are only slightly more powerful than their vanilla material counterparts.
