Realistic Survival - Spartan Weaponry
A katana is a bladed weapon with fast attack speed. While it has low base damage, it deals significantly more damage to foes without chest armor.

The katana possesses the following weapon properties:
Chest Damage Bonus
Inflicts 200% of normal damage to mobs without chest armor.
Two-Handed I
Applies Mining Fatigue III for 0.5 seconds when any item is held in the offhand.
If the off-hand is empty, the katana swings at normal speed.

Notes
The katana is best suited for PVE situations since few mobs will spawn wearing armor, and even fewer will spawn wearing a chestplate. It deals low damage in PVP situations since most players will be wearing chestplates.
Tips
Because the katana does not deal high damage to mobs wearing chestplates, it is recommended to carry another weapon that can penetrate armor like the warhammer.
