🌐Set Up Your Server on Panel
Block Party
In this setup guide, we will use Play.Hosting as the hosting provider. However, most modern server panels (like Aternos, Minehut, ScalaCube, etc.) are very similar in layout and functionality—so the steps below should still apply with only minor differences.
1. Download the Resource
If you didn't download the resource yet, you can do it, by clicking on this link and you can just press on "Download", if you are signed in.
2. Create Your Free Server on Play.Hosting
Go to https://play.hosting
Sign up with your email and username
Create your server
3. Upload the ZIP File & Extract it
Now upload your resource:
Go to the Files tab in your server panel
Click Upload or drag your
.zipfile into the panel
Wait about 3-5 minutes until you can see the ZIP file in the container.
Once uploaded, delete the default files (but not the uploaded ZIP file!)
Once done, right-click the uploaded ZIP file → Click Extract
After that, rename the Paper .JAR file (which was extracted from the ZIP file) to server.jar
4. Download Dependencies
Block Party has one required dependency, which is called TAB. To ensure you can see the in-game tab, you need to download the following file by clicking here.
After you've successfully downloaded, please upload the .jar file to the plugins folder on the panel.
5. Start Your Server
Go to the Console tab
Click Start
Wait about 2-3 minutes until the server has finished installing the necessary files.
6. Join the Server
Once the server has started fully, you can join your own server using the subdomain that you gave. (For example I used myverycoolserver.play.hosting)
That's it! You've successfully set up the server.
