🌐Set Up Your Server on Panel

In this setup guide, we will use Play.Hosting as the hosting provider. However, most modern server panels (like Aternos, Minehut, ScalaCube, etc.) are very similar in layout and functionality—so the steps below should still apply with only minor differences.

1. Download the Resource

If you didn't download the resource yet, you can do it, by clicking on this link and you can just press on "Download", if you are signed in.

2. Create Your Free Server on Play.Hosting

1. Go to https://play.hosting

2. Sign up with your email and username

3. Create your server

Click Create Server

Add your username and click Add then click Next

Click Create

Set your subdomain and click Create

Click Next

3. Upload the ZIP File & Extract it

Now upload your resource:

1. Go to the Files tab in your server panel

Go to Files

1. Click Upload or drag your .zip file into the panel

Click Upload and select the ZIP file or drag in the ZIP file

Wait about 3-5 minutes until you can see the ZIP file in the container.

1. Once uploaded, delete the default files (but not the uploaded ZIP file!)

2. Once done, right-click the uploaded ZIP file → Click Extract

3. After that, rename the Paper .JAR file (which was extracted from the ZIP file) to server.jar

4. Start Your Server

1. Go to the Console tab

2. Click Start

Wait about 2-3 minutes until the server has finished installing the necessary files.

NOTE: On first server start, please check the console and wait until the server restarts itself, so it can set up the necessary dependencies.

5. Join the Server

Once the server has started fully, you can join your own server using the subdomain that you gave. (For example I used myverycoolserver.play.hosting)
